amending title 41, chapter 6, article 7.2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 41-1080.02; relating to licensing requirements.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 41, chapter 6, article 7.2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-1080.02, to read:
41-1080.02. Licensure; tax identification number; definitions
A. If an agency requires an INDIVIDUAL'S social security number for the purposes of applying for a license, the agency shall accept an INDIVIDUAL'S federal tax identification number or another document VERIFYING the INDIVIDUAL'S IDENTITY as determined by the agency in lieu of a social security number.
B. For the purposes of this section, "agency" and "license" have the same meanings prescribed in section 41-1080.
