amending section 13-2909, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to residential picketing.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Section 13-2909, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
13-2909. Residential picketing; classification
A. A person commits residential picketing if, with intent to harass, annoy or alarm another person, such The person intentionally engages in picketing or otherwise demonstrates before or about the an individual's residence or dwelling place of an individual, other than a and either of the following applies:
1. The person intends the picketing or demonstrating to harass, annoy or alarm another person.
2. A reasonable person would find the person's picketing or DEMONSTRATING to be HARASSING, annoying or alarming to another person.
B. This section does not apply to a residence or dwelling place that is also used as the individual's principal place of business of such individual.
B. C. Residential picketing is a class 3 misdemeanor.
