An Act
appropriating monies to the governor's office on tribal relations.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; governor's office on tribal relations; flooding and water control; exemption
A. The sum of $8,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the governor's office on tribal relations to distribute to the San Carlos Apache tribe to conduct a feasibility study and conduct environmental clearances to address flooding and water control impacting the tribe.
B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
