HOUSE BILL 2623

An Act

appropriating monies to the department of administration.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; department of administration; Mohave county substations; exemption

A. The sum of $10,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the department of administration to distribute to Mohave county for capital improvements to the following:

1. Lake Havasu substation.

2. Boating safety center on Lake Havasu.

3. Mohave Valley substation.

4. Beaver Dam substation.

B. Notwithstanding section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, the appropriation made in subsection A of this section does not lapse until the purpose for which the appropriation is made is accomplished or abandoned unless the appropriation stands for a full fiscal year without an expenditure or encumbrance.
