An Act
amending title 41, chapter 9, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 41-1469; relating to discrimination in employment.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 41, chapter 9, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-1469, to read:
41-1469. Discrimination; domestic violence victims; employment; definition
A. Notwithstanding any other law, An INDIVIDUAL who is the victim of domestic VIOLENCE and who voluntarily leaves the individual's current place of employment to address any abuse shall receive all of the following from the individual's current employer:
1. Reasonable accommodations.
2. Leave balance protections.
3. unemployment eligibility protections.
B. For the purposes of this section, "DOMESTIC violence" has the same meaning prescribed in section 13-3601.
