Page 1, after line 41, insert:

"D. Beginning January 1, 2025, and each year thereafter, if the department of education determines that a charter school is in violation of the posting requirement prescribed in subsection b of this section, including a posting that does not contain all of the information required pursuant to subsection a of this section, the department shall notify the charter school that it is in violation of this section and that the department may impose a civil penalty if the charter school does not correct the violation. If the department of education determines that the charter school has failed to correct the violation within sixty days after the notice is issued pursuant to this subsection, the department of education shall impose a civil penalty of not more than $5,000 for each day that the violation continues after the sixty-day period. Actions taken under this subsection are subject to appeal pursuant to title 41, chapter 6, article 10."

Page 7, between lines 16 and 17, insert:

"J. Beginning January 1, 2025, and each year thereafter, if the department of education determines that a school district is in violation of one or more of the posting requirements prescribed in subsection e, paragraphs 3 through 6 of this section, the department shall notify the school district that it is in violation of this section and that the department may impose a civil penalty if the school district does not correct the violation. If the department of education determines that the school district has failed to correct the violation within sixty days after the notice is issued pursuant to this subsection, the department of education shall impose a civil penalty of not more than $5,000 for each day that the violation continues after the sixty-day period. Actions taken under this subsection are subject to appeal pursuant to title 41, chapter 6, article 10."
