A concurrent resolution relating to suffrage and elections.

History

A person is not entitled to vote in Arizona unless the person is a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old and must have resided in this state for at least 29 days before the election (Const. of Ariz. Art. VII, § 2, A.R.S. § 16-101).

Provisions

1.   ☐ Prop 105 (45 votes)	     ☐ Prop 108 (40 votes)      ☐ Emergency (40 votes)	☐ Fiscal NoteSpecifies only a person who is a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years old and a qualified registered voter under the law is eligible to vote in Arizona. (Sec. 1)

2.   Prohibits a person from voting for more candidates for an office than the number of offices to be filled and specifies that vote must be the sole means of determining the outcome of an election for public office that is required under federal or state law. (Sec.1)

3.   Requires the Secretary of State to submit the proposition to the voters at the next general election.

4.   Becomes effective if approved by the voters and on proclamation of the Governor.
