amending title 33, chapter 10, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 33-1314.02; relating to the Arizona residential landlord and tenant act.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 33, chapter 10, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 33-1314.02, to read:
33-1314.02. Rental application fees; maximum
Notwithstanding any other law, a landlord may not charge a prospective tenant for more than one application as a condition of the landlord receiving, reviewing and considering the potential tenancy of an applicant and for the applicant's visit to one or more of that landlord's rental properties. The landlord may not charge any additional fee to the applicant for visits to properties either before or after the application.
