AN ACT
appropriating monies to the department of transportation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; department of transportation; Somerton bridge replacement project
The sum of $1,300,000 is appropriated
from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of
transportation to distribute to Yuma county for
the bridge replacement project on Somerton Avenue between West County 10th
Street and West County 11th Street. The department of
transportation shall distribute the monies appropriated by this section only if
Yuma county demonstrates
to the department that the county has a commitment for matching monies of gifts,
grants and donations from sources other than this state in the amount of at
least $200,000
for the department of transportation shall distribute the
monies appropriated by this section only if the city of Somerton demonstrates
to the department that the city has a commitment for matching monies of gifts,
grants and donations from sources other than this state in the amount of at
least $500,000 for the bridge replacement project.
