HOUSE BILL 2858

AN ACT

appropriating monies to the department of transportation.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriation; department of transportation; 75th Avenue reconstruction project; matching requirement

A. The sum of $3,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of transportation to distribute to the city of Glendale for the 75th Avenue reconstruction project.

B. The department of transportation may distribute the monies appropriated by subsection A of this section to the city of Glendale for the 75th Avenue reconstruction project only if the city demonstrates to the department that the city has a commitment for matching monies of gifts, grants and donations in the amount of at least twenty percent of the total estimated cost of the project from sources other than this state.
