AN ACT

appropriating monies to the department of education.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Supplemental appropriation; department of education; Isaac elementary school district; exemption

A. In addition to any other appropriations made in fiscal year 2024-2025, the sum of $10,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2024-2025 to the department of education to distribute to the Maricopa county treasurer for immediate release to the Isaac elementary school district, regardless of the account balance of the district, for the maintenance and operation of the district.

B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
