An Act

 

appropriating monies to the state department of corrections, the department of juvenile corrections, the department of public safety and the administrative office of the courts.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Appropriations; state department of corrections; department of juvenile corrections; department of public safety; administrative office of the courts; salary increases

A. The sum of $71,100,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the state department of corrections for a salary increase of fifteen percent for correctional officers employed by the department.

B. The sum of $1,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the state department of corrections for a salary increase of fifteen percent for investigators employed by the department.

C. The sum of $3,800,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of juvenile corrections for a salary increase of fifteen percent for correctional officers employed by the department.

D. The sum of $34,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of public safety for a salary increase of fifteen percent for all employees of the department.

E. The sum of $8,499,150 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the administrative office of the courts for a salary increase of fifteen percent for all state employees of the supreme court, court of appeals and superior court other than judges and justices.

F. The sum of $10,164,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the administrative office of the courts for a salary increase of fifteen percent for all state-funded probation officers and staff.
