AN ACT
AMENDING title 8, chapter 3, article 1, ARIZONA REVISED STATUTES, by adding section 8-310; RELATING TO juvenile offenders.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 8, chapter 3, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 8-310, to read:
8-310. Unlawful purchase or possession of brass knuckles by a minor; violation; classification; definition
A. It is unlawful for a juvenile to intentionally or knowingly purchase or possess brass knuckles.
B. This section does not APPLY to a knife as defined in section 13-3120.
C. A violation of this section is a class 3 misdemeanor.
D. For the purposes of this section, "brass knuckles" means a device that is made of metal, plastic or another hard material and that is designed to fit over and around more than two knuckles of the human hand to enhance the power of a punch.
