amending title 23, chapter 10, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 23-1606; relating to employment relationships.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 23, chapter 10, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 23-1606, to read:

START_STATUTE23-1606. Employer-employee arbitration; dispute resolution; permissibility

Notwithstanding sections 12-1517 and 12-3003, a written agreement to arbitrate employment-related disputes between an employer and an employee whose primary job duties directly and necessarily involve the loading, unloading or handling of goods at a warehouse that is leased or owned by the employer is valid, enforceable and irrevocable except when grounds exist at law or in equity to revoke the agreement.
