AN ACT
Appropriating monies for the Arizona long-term care system.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriations; Arizona health care cost containment system; department of economic security; Arizona long-term care system; rate increases; exemption
A. The following sums from the following sources are appropriated to the Arizona health care cost containment system in fiscal year 2025-2026 for rate increases in the Arizona long-term care system for assisted living centers and skilled nursing facilities:
1. $13,592,216 from the state general fund.
2. $63,331,829 from expenditure authority.
B. The following sums from the following sources are appropriated to the department of economic security in fiscal year 2025-2026 for rate increases in the Arizona long-term care system for assisted living centers and skilled nursing facilities:
1. $821,989 from the state general fund.
2. $1,504,001 in developmental disabilities medicaid expenditure authority.
C. The appropriations made in subsections A and B of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
