A Concurrent Resolution
proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Arizona; amending article VII, section 11, Constitution of Arizona; relating to elections.

Be it resolved by the Senate of the State of Arizona, the House of Representatives concurring:
1. Article VII, section 11, Constitution of Arizona, is proposed to be amended as follows if approved by the voters and on proclamation of the Governor:
11. General elections; date; tally
Section 11. A. There shall be a general election of representatives in congress, and of state, county, and precinct officers on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of the first even numbered year after the year in which Arizona is admitted to statehood and biennially thereafter.
B. The legislature shall enact laws and PROCEDURES to ensure that, for every general election, ninety-five percent of the votes cast are tallied within one day after election day.
2. The Secretary of State shall submit this proposition to the voters at the next general election as provided by article XXI, Constitution of Arizona.
