Overview
Changes the requirements for a person to become a registered sanitarian in the state of Arizona.
History
A.R.S. § 13-136.01 governs the requirements to become a registered sanitarian in the state of Arizona. A person is eligible for registration as a sanitarian if the person:
1) has completed three years of employment as a sanitarian aide, in either a recognized public health agency or private industry, in a position directly related to environmental health;
2) has completed at least three years of full-time military duty in the field of environmental health; or
3) has successfully completed 22 semester hours of credits at an accredited college or university in the natural sciences.
Provisions
1. States the employment required, as either as sanitarian aide or in military duty, for an applicant to become a sanitarian (Sec. 1)
2. Includes 22 semester hours in the natural sciences. (Sec. 1)
