Overview

The Legislature urges the Arizona Corporation Commission to ensure reliable and affordable energy generation.

History

The Arizona Corporate Commission is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable and affordable utility services including water, electricity, telephone and natural gas (Corporation Commission). The Commission is permitted to supervise and regulate every public service corporation in the state and do all things necessary and convenient in the exercise of that power and jurisdiction (A.R.S. § 40-202).

Provisions

1.   Urges the Arizona Corporation Commission to ensure the Arizona grid is powered by affordable and reliable energy generation. (Sec.1)
