Overview

Supports the Palo Verde Generating station and the safe and efficient use of nuclear energy.

History

The Palo Verde Generating System (PVGS) is located approximately 55 miles from downtown Phoenix, Arizona. PVGS is one of the largest nuclear power plants in all of America, it contains a combined capacity of 3.8 Gigawatts (U.S. Energy Information Administration). PVGS produces electricity powering portions of the states of Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas. (PVGS).
