Fees and assessments that are authorized by statute and set by a state officer or agency, but not prescribed by formula, amount or limit are currently exempt from the two-thirds legislative vote requirement for a net increase in state revenues (Ariz. Const. art. 9 § 22).

Provisions

1. Removes the exemption for fees and assessments authorized by statute but not prescribed by formula, amount or limit and are set by a state officer or agency from the two-thirds legislative vote requirement that provides a net increase in state revenues. (Sec. 1)
