Purpose
Exempts the FY 2024 $7,000,000 appropriation from the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) Subaccount in the Automation Projects Fund (APF) for the Business One Stop from lapsing until July 1, 2026.
Background
The FY 2024 General Appropriations Act appropriated $7,000,000 from the ACC Subaccount in the APF to the ACC to replace the ACC's online records and filing system. The Arizona Department of Administration must submit a report for the Joint Legislative Budget Committee's review of the ACC's plan to support the Business One Stop project through its competition that includes plans for how the new system will integrate with the business one-stop solution (Laws 2023, Ch. 133).
There is no anticipated fiscal impact to the state General Fund associated with this legislation.
Provisions
1. Exempts the FY 2024 $7,000,000 appropriation from the ACC Subaccount in the APF for the Business One Stop from lapsing until July 1, 2026.
2. Makes conforming changes.
3. Becomes effective on the general effective date.
