The Legislative Summary, commonly referred to as the Spiel in the Senate and the Book in the House of Representatives, is published annually at the end of each regular legislative session by the research staff of each respective chamber. It contains descriptions of all legislation approved by the Legislature, including enacted and vetoed bills, memorials and resolutions, during the regular session and in any special sessions occurring since the last publication. The Legislative Summary is organized by standing committee issue area. It is presented in an overview format and is not intended to be an exhaustive analysis of each bill. Additional bill information may be obtained from Bill Status Inquiry.
